Which phones receive RCS?
Android phones using Google Messages, and iPhones on iOS 18 or later where the carrier supports RCS. Everyone else gets the SMS fallback.
How long does brand verification take?

Am I charged for the fallback?
Yes, a fallback message is billed at the SMS rate for that country, and only when the fallback is actually sent.
